King Living at DENFAIR 2018

DENFAIR is Australia’s leading destination for contemporary design and art. The event sees premium local and international brands come together to showcase their designs and celebrate exceptional creative talent in Australia. King Living were thrilled to launch three pioneering collaborations at DENFAIR with the Solifiore lighting range by Charles Wilson, the ETO table by Tom Fereday and Sand Series photography by Nick Leary.

King Living has been at the forefront of Australian furniture design for more than four decades. Channelling the brand’s history of innovation in modular technology and its unmatched level of craftsmanship, King Living has engaged in collaborations with premium designers and artists as the brand enters a new era.

Designed in collaboration with Sydney-based designer Charles Wilson, King Living are introducing their first lighting range – the Solifiore range. Marking his fifth collaboration with King Living, Charles Wilson has designed three iterations in the lighting series; Gymea, Protea and Arum, each featuring distinctive hand-blown glass heads. The Solifiore range was conceived to form clusters in a space, resembling giant plant-like shapes and forms. Offering a premium design solution, the standing lights also have an innovative control mechanism integrated into the stem allowing them or be turned on and off or dimmed by touch.

“We were incredibly proud to launch these three collaborations at DENFAIR. King Living constantly strives to produce innovative, engineered products in collaboration with innovative Australian designers and Charles, Tom and Nick are all incredibly talented and unique."

Anna Carrabs - CEO, King Living

The ETO table by Tom Fereday is the first desk in the world to offer interchangeable lighting and charging accessories. It offers integrated power, wireless charging and lighting in one sophisticated, minimal design. Considering how people truly work and live, it also incorporated a slim drawer unit to offer storage for everyday items. The ETO table is the first collection to be launch by Tom Fereday in collaboration with King Living.

Complementing the elegantly minimal aesthetic of King Living, Nick Leary’s art collection, Sand Series, is an emotive interpretation of freedom and form. These organise, monochromatic shapes make elegant, subtle styling pieces.
